Eklavya Model Residential School - Balanagar

TSEMRS Balanagar was established on March 28, 1999, as per G.O. MS No. 166 dated October 25, 1998 by the Social Welfare (Tribal Welfare Education) Department.

The primary goal was to uplift tribal students who were lagging behind socially and economically.

In 2004-2005, the school upgraded to include Intermediate classes.

The institution was later bifurcated into a Residential School and a Residential Junior College starting from August 1, 2007.

Affiliated to CBSE Present School strength 6^th to 10^th class is Each class Two sections 60 students and 11^th and 12^th MPC, BiPC and CEC each 30 students.
